Spring Game Day - 2008

Games

Hex Hex

Ross' sole table-top win of the day came at the expense of Fade, Alicia, and Shadlyn

Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Fox usually brings in a video game, just to change things up a bit. Nearly everyone got in on this action, as the game was running for almost six hours straight. Here we see Fade, Fox, and Duncan manipulating the heck out of the pixels.

Metro

Duncan, Richard, Jimmie, and Shadlyn played. Richard's win had nothing to do with his insistence on drawing cards by the handful.

Mr. Jack

Michelle, as the villainous Mr. Jack, vs Thomas, as the Investigator. Justice prevailed in both games.

Stikfight

Duncan came up with this one, which is largely a dice-powered excuse to play with Stikfas. Who won? Who cares? What part of "playing with Stikfas" could possibly include "losing"?

Pandemic

Richard, Shadlyn, Thomas, and Gina play Pandemic. The board wins. Obviously. Though later, Thomas, Michelle, Fade, and I actually won.

Tangoes

Michelle plays Tangoes while enough people free up from other games so we can play Formula De.

Formula De

Shadlyn, Steve, Jimmie, Richard, Michelle, and Fox (holding the camera) played while Thomas acted as the cheering crowd. SJ won the single-lap race, although Fox pulled a close second. Shadlyn came in last, and Richard crashed out.

Red Dragon Inn

Jimmie, Richard, Shadlyn, and Steve play Red Dragon Inn. Shadlyn crushed the other players, although reports indicate that she may have had an unfair advantage, having played competitively since 1987.

Infernal Contraption

Duncan, Ross, and Alicia play Infernal Contraption (with the expansion set). Duncan wins, but Ross gets the "What's up with that?!" award for his expression in this photo.

Talisman

Michelle, Thomas, Fade, and Fox are all set up to play. But wait, Thomas remembers a dentist appointment. Game over.
