April 28, 2011: Preparing For San Diego Comic-Con

I know the convention doesn't start until July 20, but it's never too early to prepare for San Diego Comic-Con. This year I'll be at the show with Ben and Andrew, and we'll spend our time at the Adventure Retail booth where we'll give out Munchkin promo items, teach everyone who stops by how to play Zombie Dice and Cthulhu Dice, and do our best to drive the Adventure Retail staff insane by running them out of stock before the first day ends. (If you sell every single item in the booth on the first day then the rest of the show is a vacation, right?)

Will we have anything new at the show? Maybe. We're working to have the first tuckbox expansion for Munchkin Zombies ready so that advance copies can be available at the SDCC, and there's a pretty good chance that we'll have that and a completely new (and not yet announced) Munchkin expansion at the show. It's too early to say whether or not we'll be successful at this, but all signs point to a SDCC with completely new Munchkin goodies. So if you're going to be at the show, stop by and at least say "hi," because it's always fun to destroy . . . I mean, ah, teach new gamers how to play the dice games.
