December 29, 2009: Science Sabotaged from the Future?

Is the CERN supercollider being sabotaged by the effects of its own success in the future? Holger Bech Nielsen and Masao Ninomiya have put forth the theory that the Higgs boson generated by a properly functioning supercollider would echo backward through time and prevent its own creation. Yes, it sounds crazy. It may make more sense when expressed mathematically, but it makes a great hook for a game . . .
