It was elegant, really. As the Mercurian put the finishing touches on his latest invention, he smiled over to his lover, who was polishing the invention on her end. She formed many answering smiles on her glimmering blue form. That reassured him, gave him the courage he would need to carry out the next phase of his plan. The two knew it was risky, but if it worked, they could change the very course of the War in Heaven's favor, and that was what was important, after all. The touch of his love on his shoulders, in the form of a sparrow's claws kneading his shoulders, made him turn.
"You'll do fine, Zimran." Shiloh's voice was soft as always, coming from multiple mouths.
"I couldn't have done it without you Shi. Your knowledge of the ways of Hell will let us deal them one massive blow and undermine the fiends greatly!" Zimran's face, tanned and framed by blonde-hair in stereotypical surfer style, was enthusiastic as always.
Shiloh blushed a deep pink, some of her eyes sad. Zimran quickly took the roseate Kyriotate into his arms.
"Oh hon. I know that remembering your days as a Corruptor is painful for you, but really, this will make up for all the evil you used to do."
The Domination nodded once and embraced him, then pushed him away. "Now go. You have Lilim to round up."
He nodded. "Right!" He bounded off, taking their precious invention with him in a burst of Essence and the ripples of a Song of Celestial Motion.
Shiloh smiled and whispered "Good luck, love."
The Cage is a rather simple looking device to the untrained eye. It stands about 6 feet by 6 feet and is formed of solid steel, with a catch on the bottom that enables the device to swing outward and scoop something in, then slam shut about them. There is a one foot by one foot window of transparent black glass set in the top of the Cage for observation.
In contrast to its' appearance, the Cage was designed for a far grander purpose. Its' co-creators, Zimran and Shiloh of Flowers, believe that individual redemptions, while good in and of themselves, will never win the War. Their Master Plan calls for a mass Redemption, the likes of which have never been seen in history.
The Plan goes like this: First, the duo capture as many Lilim as possible and turn them over to Redemption squads. Second: Lilith shows up, pissed off over the capture and Redemption of so many of her Daughters. Third: either the Kyriotate or the Mercurian drops the Cage on Lilith, which Shiloh will possess with the Kyriotate of Lightning attunement (convienently garnered from her days in service to Lightning after her own Redemption from the clutches of Dark Humor). That moment of being trapped will, they presume, inflict Dissonance on the Princess of Freedom. That's when Zimran will invoke Novalis while Shiloh holds Lilith in the cage. Presumably, all will go well and Lilith will be Redeemed. With her Redemption, all Lilim will Redeem simutaneously and deliver a major blow to Hell.
Naturally, the two consider this a brilliant plan, and neither has bothered to consult with Novalis or anyone else on this. They don't want to spoil the plan by letting too many fingers into the pie. Neither has considered the reasons why Novalis hasn't let Zimran go to Earth on his own, or why Kobal was always setting up Shiloh as the butt of jokes. They're angels, but that doesn't mean they're bright. PC's might be asked to help capture Lilim to lure out Lilith, or to hold the cage to inflict as much dissonance on Lilith as possible.
Mercurian of Flowers
Corporeal Forces: 3
Ethereal Forces: 2
Celestial Forces: 4
Songs: Charm (Ethereal/3), Harmony (Ethereal/5), Healing (Corporeal/3, Celestial/3), Motion (Celestial/5), Shields (All/4)
Attunements: Mercurian of Flowers, Seraph of Flowers
Currently looks like a 5'10" blond-haired, skinny caucasian boy in his late teens, complete with acne, a golden halo, and wings.
Kyriotate of Flowers
Corporeal Forces: 1
Ethereal Forces: 1
belestial Forces: 6
Songs: Harmony (Ethereal/6), Healing (All/4), Location (Corporeal/4), Shields (Celestial/5)
Attunements: Kyriotate of Flowers, Kyriotate of Lightning
Both are very friendly, very naive, and very deeply in love with each other. They feel they complete each other, and tend towards melodramatic (read here: sappy) displays of affection for each other. Both would fight to the death for each other. Zimran currently has no vessel, since his last one, a surfer dude in California, got trashed by a Djinn of Dark Humor looking for Shiloh, hoping for bonus points with Kobal by bringing him an ex-Servitor.
