Gebbeleth has been missing for a while, having vanished around 1500BC. Mammon should be a Prince if it's close to the year 0, bringing Zadkiel closely along as well, and if you play it around 300AD, Litheroy will be hitting Archangel around that point too. The Demon of Tabloids, Balseraph of the Media, wasn't written up but was used as an NPC villain for an adventure seed. Toss in Moe's Angel thereof for addtional fun. Jordi is as likely to act like a cornered rat as he is to back down. Personally, the thought of Jordi turning his attention to the Marches scares me in a Purity Crusade sort of way. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 4 Jan 2002 15:27:12 EST From: CsHoneyman@aol.com Subject: Re: IN> Roman Empire IN: "Pax et Bellum"? I've lost track, if it was mentioned -- is this AD or BC? Makes quite a difference to the celestial mechanics, as it were, since several Archangels (and, in the case of Laurence, an Archangel-to-be) decided to be Christian or back Christianity. Maybe domestic cats were > created by Jordi for the purpose of protecting the dreamscapes of animals > from demons. It's possible. I've always had a problem with Jordi's Malakim being the protectors of dogs, wolves etc, given that we've only had Malakim for 22,000 years. It would make more sense for his Malakim to be the defenders of domesticated and feral animals; the time periods are the same, and they are the only choir Jordi is likely to trust with long term interaction with humans. So that domestic cat could be a snoozing Malakite, guarding Dreamscapes. Presumably, an animal in Heaven also loses it's restriction on maximum no. of Forces, allowing for animal Saints - who better to guide a bird to it's Destiny than another bird, for example - which would explain the tales of animals with wisdom and powers well beyond human ken. Animal Saints have the addition advantage that animals don't seem to head up Jacob's Ladder, so Heaven doesn't lose agents to the Higher Heavens (yes, I'm being cynical - so what?). Even a mundane, mortal animal would help Blandine & Jordi defend the dreams of other animals - they simply patrol Blandine's March and call for help if they find a demon - any animal normally used as a guard animal: dogs, geese etc. would be perfect for this. Cheers, James. ------------------------------ End of in_nomine-digest V1 #2504 ********************************
