Beth, did you ever get word on whether I could take that T-shirt idea to cafepress.com and print some up? There was also someone mentioning that y'all might do it in-house, which would of course supersede my efforts. Did anything ever come of that? Seraphim: "This is a T-Shirt." Ofanite: "If you're reading this, I must be dissonant." Shedite: "I've lost my wife, my kids, my car, my job, my money, my health, my mind and all I got was this lousy t-shirt." Hmm... Darn. OHHH t-shirts.... When this was last around, me and fallenseraph got talking, and here's some poster ideas i come up with, i just remembered there were in my saved folder... Basic Ideas Have the angel in Celestial Form, in front/below the form is something that defines the nature of the angel/demon. Under each Picture a catchline about the Celestial in question. Angels Seraphs Pseudo quatl looking snake. Strings hanging from its wing tips, connected to a lawyers body, its tail curls around the lawyers legs. Can you handle the Truth? Elohite Sexless halo d angel, almost looking like a grey. A marionette X piece held in one hand and a blank theatre mask in the other. The strings connect to a Dr or Surgeons body. Emotion is a chemical imbalance of the minds natural state Mercurian Stereo typical Winged Angel, in a toga or flowing robes. Surrounded by many happy looking people of differing genders and races. We are among you Malakite Shadowy forms, razor sharp edges, eyes full of balefire and hate, silvered chains draped about it, but not hindering it, a cruel looking fiery blade clutched in one hand. Around lay the dead bodies of obvious looking bad guy, punks/thugs/Mafioso/ninja types etc. Some times the only thing worse than a demon is an angel Kyriotate The roiling mass of body parts, tendrils of smoke reaching in to the bodies of many different people and animals, from all walks of life. I just want you for your body Cherub A winged sphinx like creature holds in one paw a person, under the other paw another person, crushed. You have to go through Me first Offanite Balls, Wheels and Pillars of fire. Small strings of fire connected to bikers and people who move about a lot. Outta the way... i'm hot and coming through... Demons Balseraph The sinewy horned dragon snake. From its wings and horns chains connect to a lawyer or senator type figure, its tail curls around their legs. I make the Rules here Lillim The sexy green skinned demonette wearing a bdsm outfit, delicate chains and silvery rings adorn her body. A leash held in one hand connecting her to whores and pimps, drug dealers and slaves, each of them begging for a drink from a chalice she holds in her other hand Ask and you shall receive... Habbalah The ruined, tattooed and scarred body of the angel, a look of hatred and malice on its face. A barbed whip lashes the backs of priests and nuns, who in turn lash out at children. In Hell some must remain pure Djinn Neither man nor beast the demons picture. Two people either side it, one of them it is hitting with an open handed slap, the other it coldly ignores. Because I love to hate you Shedite A roiling dark mass of teeth, claws, fangs and eyes. Several black tentacles slide in to a housewives ear, her eyes glow red, she holds a bloody knife in one hand. I only want you for your Mind Impudite The bat winged demon, vampiric fangs in its mouth, its claws bloody, a heart in one hand. Surrounded by hungry looking miserable people who beg for its attention, one of them lays dead, a bloody hole in its chest. I ll Take what ever I want Calabite The large horned, bat winged, fanged, cloven-hoofed demon. A large spiked club in one hand. In the other hand it holds the marionette X piece, the string connect to bikers, thugs and such like. What you looking at ya talking monkey? Sorry if this was a bit long.. Anyways, that was all the rough poster ideas i had. Cas *Knowledge is power. Power corrupts. Study hard. Each level of the relic reduces the will of the person it is given to, for the purpose of convincing him or her to betray a trust, named when it is handed over. As long as the victim has the relic in his possession, he will continue to have the penalty to his Will roll when the possibility of betrayal occurs. They often include a minor Greed Discord fixated upon them so that the victim doesn't trade the relic away. A single point of Essence must be expended when giving the relic to activate the ability; a safety measure so that servitors are not likely to begin betraying their masters while carrying the relics on their person. The relic will remain "attuned" to betrayal of the named person until it is cleared by another expenditure of Essence aimed at clearing it. Attempting this when you are not the possessor of the relic requires a successful Will contest with a check digit greater than the current possessor's Will plus the level of the relic. The relic most commonly takes the form of small change. The higher the level of the relic, the more valuable the coins may appear to be. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 08 Apr 2002 09:04:46 -0600 From: Kelly Pedersen Subject: Re: IN> T-Shirt Slogans... (Or at least the softcover burning feather version. Dunno about other versions). Anyway, the one with the "Heaven's Hellions" angel crushing the throat of a demon. You can see it in the In Nomine art gallery, here: http://www.sjgames.com/in-nomine/artwork/splash-fight.jpg Anyway, I think the picture would make the shirt more interesting for people who don't play the game, as well. > > ----------------------- > > Originally composed by Fallen Seraph. > > William _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? For example, why >is he hostile toward Novalis? It's simple: he feels that she wants to intervene in human affairs and thus prevent their psychological growth. (This is proto-canon...) She's all Nature and Granola and Loving, while he's very tech-as-tool and stand- on-your-own-two-feet. He thinks that she'd give them too much knowledge, too fast, in a Cherubic attempt to shield them from the booboos of life, and thus stunt humanity's development to that of small children (notoriously selfish, BTW) or invalids. He may or may not be correct. He's objective, not infallable. Novalis, on her side, has no hostility toward Jean because, well, she's Novalis. Jean's not "wrong-headed" like the (rest of the?) war faction in Heaven. He's just a bit of a grumpyElohite who works too much and probably misses his Choirmate, Raphael... Besides, gengineering plants is a most interesting idea! (There, have the image of Novalis in a tye-dye lab coat, making corn that's more nutritious and hardy...) On the side of Laurence liking Jean... 1: Jean is the one to go to when you need a giant Escaflowne Mecha. O:> 2: Jean is the only major Elohite on the Seraphim Council (okay, that we know of), and therefore something of a... well, balance. He has his Word-bias, but his Elohite nature will cause him to examine extreme trends in Council meetings, and try to suppress even his Word-bias, if necessary, to make sure that all is being considered objectively. 3: Jean is as ruthless as necessary, and a good person to bounce plans off of; he probably manages to point out flaws in plans without Seraphic Bluntness (cf Michael) which might ruffle Laurence's feathers a touch. For his part, Jean probably takes a certain amount of care to maintain a "trusted advisor" relationship with Laurence, who is young for his position, and may need a hand now and again in a way that will not undermine his effectiveness. This doesn't mean that Jean tells his people to help out Laurencians all the time, since Sparkies are all rather overworked in the first place (the chief Sparkie among them, of course), but a certain amount of personal attention in this matter can have long-term benefits. Or so I would speculate. - --emccoy@nh.ultranet.com // arcangel@io.com In Nomine Line Editor RPG links; Random name list, Art: http://www.io.com/~arcangel/ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 8 Apr 2002 14:55:48 -0500 From: Elizabeth McCoy Subject: Re: IN> T-Shirt Slogans... True -- Laurence would quite reasonably *love* a professional, businesslike attitude combined with at least some similarity of viewpoint between him and Jean re: the proper way to fight the War. Jean is nothing if not efficient and self-controlled, and in his "Commander Of The Host" role Laurence would really really like to have more efficient, dependable Archangels who can mostly run themselves, needing only occasional direction in broad matters of inter-Word policy. - -- Chuckg ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 8 Apr 2002 16:45:08 -0700 (PDT) From: Maurice Lane Subject: Re: IN> T-Shirt Slogans... Well, even though there's definitely some history there, does that necessarily make it impossible for Khalid to take the same function? After all, he /is/ an Elohite, and an archangelic one at that. Surely he could set aside his subjective feelings on the issue. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 8 Apr 2002 22:59:19 -0500 From: "Charles Glasgow" Subject: Re: IN> Hello - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eric Eves" To: Sent: Monday, April 08, 2002 10:40 PM Subject: Re: IN> Hello [snip] > After all, he /is/ an Elohite, and an archangelic one at that.
