Actually, the rolls to sense the disturbance of a celestial form and the roll to actually see it are two different rolls. However, with the disturbance /right there/ on top of the angel, I'd probably give a bonus to the Per. roll to see it, maybe the check digit on the roll to detect the disturbance, or something... Dunno exactly, but it's like the difference between hearing someone set off an M80 a couple blocks away, and hearing it go off right behind you. Personally, if Zombis don't have even the least little bit of soul, then Charon's (my AA of Death) 'Guides on the Path' (his Masters of Death) can't use their Sphere power to exorcise the undead, and they cease to be incredibly scary for undead everywhere. Just my opinion, of course. Aah, but think about it. A vessel is merely a shell. It's the soul that accumulates dissonance. IMO, when a Shedim possesses a human they do not fully push that human's soul out because a human's soul is anchored to the body. On the other hand, Celestials come and go from their bodies as they please, so a Shedim (or Kyriotate for that matter) possessing another Celestial's vessel is simply going to make that Celestial vessel-less, and if they don't find another one soon, they'll be pulled back to Heaven (or Hell) to be asked why they let another celestial steal their vessel. Therefore the Shedim can not force an angel to gather Dissonance, but it can be very annoying to the Angel in other ways (bodiless with an angry master are not part of a happy life). You know, I bet the whole Lilim/Shedite tiff started the first time a Lilim tried to put a Geas on a Shedite and looked into its "eyes" to find out what it wanted... no doubt a traumatizingly icky experience, but then the Shedite would probably think she deserved as much... or maybe it would just giggle madly and start following her around, an even worse fate ;) > (First treatment for suspected possession. An M-80 going off right behind you is, well... owtch. Make sure you're not in a Celestial tunnel ;) > > your idea better! ("Oh, my, what's this crawling around my psyche? Looks > > like a Shedite.
