IMC, the way I handled this was to elminate the time limit on how long an angel or demon could remain in celestial form while on Earth, and making it harder for ordinary people to see the celestial forms of the spirits. So it was very possible for someone to have a guardian (or tempter) spirit that follwed them around 24x7. - -- Neel Krishnaswami neelk@cswv.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 07 May 1999 15:58:23 -0400 (EDT) From: gantr@NKU.EDU Subject: IN> Celestial Time Limits? There's a limit on how long someone can remain in Celestial form? Where is this? I don't remember seeing it in the rules. (Not that it isn't there; I just don't remember it.) It's Will + Check Digit minutes, iirc, or about 10 times that for a Kyriotate or Shedite. Relievers and Demonlings can hang around indefinitely, though, and are less noticable in Celestial form, having fewer Celestial Forces. Nah... ...or maybe it is. I got a rather lengthy bit of spam courtesy of the cypherpunks list. It was apparently all about why the New Testament was rejected by practitioners of Judaism and it gives various citations in an attempt to show that. The people involved use the word 'noahchide' which I have no past experience with. It appears to be the best we poor folks not descended from the Chosen People can aspire to. I can forward this document, which doesn't seem to sell anything physical, to anyone who wants it. I would kind of like an expert opinion on this...and I know there are a number of much heavier-hitting theological scholars here than I. Their web site is noachidetorah.mainpage.net...I have not had the chance to look there yet. But how does it all tie into IN in a greater sense? Simple! This is the first religious spam I've ever gotten that attempted to make a lengthy arguement! As such it's got to be reflected as a plot in an IN game, perhaps at this upcoming con!
