I've always assumed that celestial combat looks just like corporeal combat (or as much like corporeal combat as you can get with giant winged serpents, flaming wheels, and clouds). Angels and Demons punch, kick, claw, bite, grapple, constrict, and so forth. If they have them, they use weapons. I don't know if throws and body slams would hurt much, however. At least, I'm not sure about it in the corporeal. There's that whole intangible aspect to consider. In biblical terms, twelve thousand from twelve tribes doesn't really mean twelve times twelve times one thousand. Twelve is one of those nifty biblical numbers that means "completeness", and a thousand is another of those nifty biblical numbers that means "all", so twelve times twelve times one thousand means "all them Jewish people." I love it. Let me do some bad kids. THE BAD KIDS "Bel" (Junior)-Ever since Blandine's parents divorced Beleth (Bel for short) has been living with her father ever since and is HE a nut job she chose to live with. Unlike her twin sister who loves poetry, is friendly, and concerned Beleth has recently adopted a heavy Goth persona with emphasis on the disdain for the entire sum of humanity that comes with the look. Bel especially loves teasing and tormenting her sister's friends and enjoys scaring them with curses and threats that leave alot to the imagination. She and Sammy share the same hobby of weekend horror fests but she can't stand him. Asmodeus (Senoir)- Asmodeus is unqiue among the Bad kids in that he gets straight A's and has a perfect track record from his old school. Aside from the points about his name that he gets alot (you be the judge) from the good AND bad kids he has managed to become head of the school chess club and unofficial snitch. Asmodeus loves reporting fights, cheating, and otherwise getting his fellow bad kids into trouble....he does the same to Janus and the rest of the good kids too. Arrogant to the extreme his parents were definately rich, which makes oen wonder why he went to the school he did.' "Sammy" (Junior)- Sammy is really quiet save in biology lab and during disections where he can't stop giggling. A avid player of AD&D, Vampire The Masquerade, and KULT he is really a stereotype in his social ineptness but just hopes he can get out of high school and fufill his dream of taking over his dad's job as a coroner. Sammy despite his social ineptness refused any attempt at befriending by other people as he is fanatically protective of his hobbies and very introverted....prone to very cruel comments and talking to his action figures and minatures he brings to school....though he's sure no one sees him do it. He loves spending weeked long horror fests at the movies and laughs at the gory scenes. Several times Kobal has borrowed some of his stuff for pranks. Andre (Senoir)- Andre is the girl that the cheerleaders of Higher Heavens has come to despise. Constantly leering at every single specimen of flesh that happens to pass their way, his lewd comments are neverending, and he's been called several times to the princibles office for pornography. He claims openly he's slept with every girl in the school and has only narrowly avoided getting Gabrielle to crack his skull in. Some of the girls on the squad are planning on launching a formal protest if he gets on the cheerleading squad but the new bad girls may overwhelm the vote who love him to death. Andre despite his fanatical devotion to image is already getting alot of gay rumors about him especially since Andre has attracted some bad attention from Big Mike for his comments on his girl Novy and he seems to love it. "Lily"- (Sophmore) Lilith is the woman who has turned every single head in Heaven, including the teachers. Drop dead gorgeous with long black tresses and eyes so green to die for she was the first to make the mini-skirt an accepted fashion statement. It's rather well known among the students that Lily goes all the way if you manage to not be cheap and it has met with considerable grumbling and some disturbing interest among even the good kids. Lily is trying out for the squad mainly for popularity reasons and perhaps to make her boyfriends Val and Andre jealous...and get the eye of who she really wants....Larry.[1] [1] Read Superiors 1 Faculty Yves- (Librarian) No one is quite sure how to pronounce his name but the Librarian is always there to talk to students who are willing to help him put up his books. Unofficially he is the head of most of the student activities in terms of ideas and is always willing to help with a book on soccor, motorcycling, or whatnot. He also does most of the administration in lieu of ever unseen princible. Another duty of Yves is he's always there to speak up for the kids at meetings, perpetually cheery, almost all the kids like him save Big Mike and the Bad crowd who consider the man creepy and boring. He's especially fond of Dominic who spends his lunch break in his library reading often. Kronos (History)- One of the few good teachers (or so the board judged) at the Sheol distict High School, Kronos is a bald wry spectacle wearing man with absoluely no sense of humor. Privately Kronos is extremley annoyed that he has been transferred out of a school he had tenure at and had been looking forward to perhaps a position on the school board before the Sheol record had come clean and his reputation had been tainted. Kronos hates kids, hates animals, hates football, hates cheerleading, hates Novy (which is something just shocking to her), and was in fact one of the reasons the kids so consistantly failed at Sheol due to his criticism and unfair grading pratices. However he is eyeing that assistant princibles position vacated by Metatron getting fired.... - -Charlemagne ------------------------------ Date: 24 Oct 2000 13:08:06 -0700 From: Casca Subject: IN> Higher Heavens High -- The Faculty On Tue, 24 October 2000, "Charles Glasgow" wrote: > OK, this ought to be a good start. (Via May Tetron, of course.) To this day, Mr. Dominic is convinced that Big Mike was pardoned only so that he wouldn't be ineligible to play in that year's upcoming district championship Football game, and has vowed that one of these days he's going to find something that Big Mike (who flaunts his victory over Mr. Dominic just as proudly and openly as he does every other victory he's ever won) is actually guilty of. And *then* they'll all see that *nobody* escapes the Dean of Student Discipline. Big Mike, meanwhile, takes cheerful refuge in the fact that while he might be the school's resident egostistical macho man, he's an *honest* egotistical macho man, and has absolutely naught to fear from Mr. Dominic. Well, not much. Only a few things. Very minor ones... I'd suggest double-checking all your options for something about also including html. I'd try to tell you where to look, but I've never used Outlook, so I've no idea. Haagenti or Saminga (ever notice how tenticle beasts tend to rape their prey to death), sure, but not Andrealphus. of course, with the Demon Princes running roughshod over anime-earth, you'd have to have Vampire Princess Myiu out there, excorsizing the "shinma" ;) "Sometimes all I want is to be someone's sex object. I saw the commercial for :The Little Vampire:, which I'm guessing is going to be an excellent example of your standard, Media-inspired, egregious piece of (bleep). And what does it have? It has vampire cows. This actually frightened me. I don't mind it when my thoughts run down parallel lines with people whose work I respect, but _Hollywood_? So much for the Undead Servitors of Ronald expansion that I was planning for Halloween.
