Seriously, I thought he was a little unbalanced but he really is gone. Anyway, is there anyone out there who uses him as a pretend moron? I'm toying with the idea of that, where his goal isn't Zombi Earth its Mummy Dominated Earth. Basically making him smart enough to realize there have to be living things that die to fuel his Word, so he'll pen them up, force them to breed (or better yet create them artificially) and keep comming up with new ways to kill them and new ways to make them undead. Since me and players usually ignore the idiot prince I could use some help in portraying him. I had a simple solution, for In Nomine anyway... At the supermarket, in the checkout lines, well... you know the kind of fare they have there... word search books, horoscopes, how to tell if your cat is psychic... you know the stuff. Once through, I spotted the book "Baby Names From The Bible..." and snapped it up for a buck... And tonight, I bought four books of house plan samples. for a little over three bucks apiece. They're not good enough to, say, build a house from, but they're fine for drawing maps for combat... - --David http://home.bluecrab.org/~dwood "I had REALLY high hopes when I saw the URL http://www.furby.com/furby/breaking.htm ...but the blasted thing is just a news page." ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 2 Mar 2000 09:50:52 -0000 From: "Laurent" Subject: Re: IN> Looking for names? Yeah, but I'm living in Ireland. You can't find all that stuff around here... First, you're lucky if you find a small local shop every 3 miles. Then all you can find in the shop is toilet paper (not great for drawing maps... I tried...) and potatoes. Thanks to God, there are pubs and off-licences every 20 yards!! :) Thanks for the tip, Laurent. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 2 Mar 2000 09:41:13 -0600 From: "Dennis Groome" Subject: Re: IN> Saminga is nuts, really nuts actually, I don't use Saminga as an idiot. Sure, he acts like one, but it's a clever ruse. Do you really think someone as stupid as Saminga is made out to be would be able to get the Word of Death? That's a mighty big word. None of my players (of whom two are Servitors of Death) know this yet, but my Saminga is no fool...he's just waiting and growing stronger...it's all been a set-up from the beginning, and it's happening soon...one last little point: I wonder what could be brewing in the chasm where all the grubs have been herded to millennia...so many forces down there...so much power to harness... - -Dennis H. He's really smart, but so obsessed with his Word, he never applies his intelligence outside a very narrow scope. He *was* smart, but the Word of Death has a naturally corrosive effect on the bearer. He's just as stupid as he seems and was given a major Word and a Princedom exactly because Lucifer wants a major Word like that -- or this particular major Word -- given to someone easy to control. (Destructive Words in general seem to get stupid Princes. Look at Belial and Haagenti.)
