Ok, it's been the week, so I'll make another comment. I personally prefer the 'Lilith as Villianess' version over the 'Lilith as Victim' version. This has more to do with my campaign and GMing style than with anything which may or may not be Canon. I run a high-contrast game where the Shal-Mari gang are the nastiest of the Demon Princes. (Except for the one who Redeemed, that is... thanks Moe!) Having read the executive summaries, I'd say that both are perfectly valid from a Canon standpoint, and you're looking at the adjustment knobs, not the meat of the issue, being the difference. Experienced, inexperienced, or neither?<<< Well, I prefer Angelic PCs. If the game becomes very popular I might accept Demonic PCs later. As for experience, since I'm a new GM to this system, I don't hold experience against anyone, so either way is fine by me. :) >>>Do you have a preference for or against certain Superiors? (I, for example, don't care for ethereal adventures, and tell my players that they'll probably get bored if they serve Blandine in my games.)<<< Hmmmm.....well, Servitors of Stone and Judgement might have some difficulties. I've never quite figured out the purpose of Stone (besides the fact that he's one of the most ancient Archangels), and I'm not willing to allow Triads of Judgement to run roughshod over everyone (though I have nothing against individual Servitors of Judgement). >>>Your campaign: High contrast or low?<<< I'm not sure really. :) I'm concentrating more on role-playing than dice mechanics (especially considering that I don't have the books but I do have a list of the major Superiors of both sides). >>>Your campaign: Cinematic or more realistic?<<< I think more realistic. I'm not averse to special effects, but I am trying to create an enviroment of realism into the game as well. >>>How many players do you want?<<< I haven't determined yet. Right now I'm trying to see what interest there will be. I'm hoping for diversity in the characters. For instance, I don't want all Seraphim or all Fire Servitors, things like that. :) One or two maybe, but not a whole campaign based around them. >>>When do people have to have their submissions in?<<< So far I'm just sending out the opening blurb to interested players, so I have no submissions or deadlines yet. >>>Is it first come, first served, or will you look 'em over and decide?<<< I'll look them over and decide. :) >>>When's the game start?<<< Once I get enough submissions and approve characters. :) >>>(That covers all the info that anyone would need to decide if they wanted to get involved or not... just trying to help.)<<< Thanks a lot! ^_^ ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! You got room for a Seraph of Judgement who's actually a rather tolerant fellow by Judgement standards... because he started out life as a Balseraph of the Game, and thus has a slightly different perspective re: how hardball is too hardball than his fellow Judgement servitors? - -- Chuckg ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 21 Aug 2000 10:08:48 -0700 (PDT) From: Maurice Lane Subject: Re: IN> Contest: Minor Choirs and Bands Date: Sun, 20 Aug 2000 09:15:14 -0700 (PDT) From: Michael Walton Subject: Re: IN> Contest: Minor Choirs and Bands >But no fair posting the Fallen version already! o;;;> No choice in the matter, alas: gotta keep the Great Janus/Valefor Debate nicely confused, after all. The Rockies? The Stoners? Pebbles? Bambam? (Only if you bambam first...) To answer that part, I am somewhat partial towards Novalis, Christopher, Blandine, and Eli. I like the concept of Flowers (in fact my very first IN character was a Seraph of Flowers, for some reason I like the Seraphim), I love kids, Dreams are where I get a lot of inspiration, and Creation is just cool. :) ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
