He's gone around the twist. He's flipped his lid. He's checked into the Happy Home. He's crazy, looney, nuts, off the deep end, living in cloud-cuckoo land. In Dark Victory, Dominic is the insane Demon Prince of Cleansing, dedicated to eliminating everything unclean from God's creation- that is, all matter and energy except himself. Redneck's statement that he'll be taking any requests we have to offer gives me that chance by causing me to think of a couple of things he could touch on: 1) We've gotten the (neo-)Archangel writeups on Andre and Lucifer, and we've been specifically promised revised writeups for Lilith and Domi- nic. But what about Nybbas? What does it mean to be a Seraph, or a Mercurian, of Communication? 2) This is the *real* biggie. Once again, I'd like him to turn his gaze, as he did in _Dark Music_, on characters created by Derek Pearcy. Specifically, Marcus and the people he knows. Did our anti-favorite Impudite manage to Redeem, or is he still working for the Prince who claimed the Granite Throne? What about Charlie? Is Nicole still working for Gabriel? Did Sabrina follow Andre in defecting? Was Tariel killed at Megiddo, or did he outlive his Archangel? If the latter, has he found a new Archangel to serve? Has he finally Fallen and become a Djinn, and if so, of whom? Did Adam ever claw his way back to Earth? Big questions, and I'm kind'a curious to see if you can come up with answers. Austin G. So, Redneck, with your permission, I'd like to work on this aspect of your world. - -- Casca (bertishg@db.erau.edu) "...I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above Him were seraphs, each with six wings: with two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying...At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook, and the temple was filled with smoke." -- Isaiah 6:2,4 ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 22 Oct 1997 18:03:45 -0400 From: Elizabeth McCoy Subject: Re: IN> [DARK VICTORY] Bright Victory? In a Bright Victory, Heaven wins, all dissenters are destroyed along with the demons, and either Earth is destroyed and recreated from scratch or remade in a Heavenly image. Angels deviating from the Party Line are dissolved, and humans not conforming to the Light are -still- sent to Hell for eternal punishment. Dark Victory becomes fun because Hell's nature is different from Heaven's; while Heaven is mostly united in intent, if not in execution, Hell is unified only by the powerful will of Lucifer himself. Heaven can split only with difficulty, and such splits will be dealt with swiftly. Hell is - -already- split and held together with baling wire, chewing gum, and bad intentions." I'm working on a Bright Victory setting at the moment. I think it can work. Just stay tuned for a bit. So he begins trying to fight of the angels. All this is noticed by God who takes the man, and forces him to watch the end battle. The man is then informed that as the former Satan was killed in the "final battle" that HE is now Satan. The proposition is simple, if the Satan can defeat God, then he becomes God, and can run the world how ever he likes, but this has never happened. So the new Satan begins to form his army of other disanants, is thrown out of heaven, and it starts all over again. I realy do need to find that manuscript. :-} Shadowcat All cats may look upon a king.
