I haven't got my books available at the moment (and my internet access is restricted, which is why I've been so quiet lately:), but I seem to remember that the main book says that it's the Holy Spirit that actually makes the interventions. Whether that's the same as God doing it would depend on your view of the Trinity and a bunch of other things, I suppose. :) "Stand back, boy! Whats the appropriate opposite here? Attunement, harmony? Harmony...hmmm... "a positive aspect of the syphony embodied in a vessel". Don't really want advantages/disadvantages - edges/hindrances - but thats how I'd introduce it/them... special notes tied up in a being. Of course much as discord is *bad* this is *good*... depending on whose side you're on :-) Of course you'd need a very good reason to have them, or acquire them but thats not really the issue. Question: if the pope has 'faith' so demons find it harder to possess him... would it make it easier for angels? If not faith is not really an appropriate name is it? I personally can't comment on the Song thing because I can't see the *exact* phrasing (MUST GET NEW BOOK), but if the bonus is given to anyone attuned to the Word the Waters I would say that anyone who holds an attunement of the Word the Waters gains the benefit. This is beacuse: 1 IMO when a Word holder dies the Word doesn't die because it is still an aspect of the Symphony, but without the Word holder it's presence in the Symphony drops a lot. And 2 IMO if you have an attunement of a particular Superior then their Word becomes an inherrent part of your nature. I take the fact that if you serve don't serve a Superior but have one of their attunements you don't get the -10 invocation modifier, as a little evidence of this theory. Ramesh Hoping you had a Cool Christmas and will have a Cool New Year. ------------------------------ End of in_nomine-digest V1 #1070 ******************************** The material here is (C) 1997 Steve Jackson Games, Incorporated.
