--------------------GEV List Thingy, Dec 4th-------------------- From: Shaun Travers Subject: Re: GEV List Thingy, Dec 3rd. I have heard of the Ninja and the III-B but do not have there stats. Thanks for the clarification with multiple attacks in Ogre miniatures. -shaun ___ [The III-B is a Mark-III with doubed Missiles and Main. (A "pocket Mark-V"). Due to the change of scale, Ogres now lose movement by the inch, not the hex, and so the Mk-IIIs start with 48 tread units and lose an inch of movement with every 8th tread hit. The Ninja is now up to half a dozen special cases in the rules and so should not be discounted as a cutrate Mark-IV. Wouldn't the Mark-IV make a LOT more sense if Ogres could split-move? (At the start of their FIRST movement phase they declare how many inches of movement that they'll use that phase and then, after firing they get to move the rest of their movement, due to their "Robotic reflexes".) At 25 "armor units" for a IV or V, they need some advantage, esp. against the 10 GEV-PC loads of missile infantry that they cost. (An attack of 90 points from 7 hexes away!) -HJC] Henry J.
