So I suppose spillover fire is done on whoever's within a 2 cm burst radius? I should probably wander over to a hobby store and see if they have it. (Sting) ___ [The Games I run have a one-week turnaround for a segment ("Player Turn" == one half of a full turn). This is my one and only GEV mailing list, and I will not split it. You get your obvious questions, snide comments and PBeM results all in one place. The Minis book includes "Spillover templates" (Bigger attacks make a bigger splash), but no minis (Think how flat they'd have to be...). -HJC] ___ From: Tim Swenson Subject: Waterloo Henry, Thanks for putting me on your mailing list. In one of the last mailings, you have turn 3a of the scenario Waterloo. I'm assuming that the positions mentioned in the mailing are not the original starting positions. Do you have the actual scenario for this game, including victory conditions? Do you have any other scenarios? I already have "Ogre March" and "Last of the Red Hot Coelacanths". I'm interested in others. Do you know of PC Ogre, the PD/shareware version of Ogre to MS-DOS (uses ANSI.SYS)? If not, I can send you a copy of it. Tim Swenson ___ [Part of the fun of my games is that I'll not provide any standard listing of what's gonna happen. The players will just have to "tough it out". (If they don't like it, they can go run their own games. ;-) Not much happened during the first two turns of Waterloo, the Combine Ogres entered the SE corner, the Legionnaire come in from the North, while the GEVs entered from the south. Everything else is just about where it started. None of the Ogres have been scrathed. I'm already working on the next scenario. The problem with it is that I like the posibilities of the new units so much that the players will be required to have both the OGRE/GEV set and the Ogre Minis book. (See the above...) I have permision from Steve to shuffle stuff over from the BBS to r.g.btech, and there are a few scenairos in the downloads section. None of us, however, have permision to copy the "non-commercial" Ogre game. If you'd like to play against a computer, you're supposed to find the (out of print?) game from Origins and a C=64 to run it on... -HJC] ___ Subject: Re: GEV List, please pass onward From: goldman@orac.cray.com (Goldman of Chaos, postmaster CRI-US) I've been buying up miniatures for Ogre.
