Scott Orr ----- [My conception is that a linear barrier is use to hide behind, scurry across and open fire from another point along. A totally static position requires BCP backing. Remember that nukes never strike the same place twice, because it just isn't the same place after being nuked the first time. -HJC] ------------------------------ To: hcobb@io.com Subject: Pics of OGREs and GEVs From: macrae@usa.pipeline.com (Stephen M. Gamble) Hi, this is a quick note to see if there is any digitized Ogre/GEV artwork available for FTP/etc. Specifically, I need a right, front-quarter view of an Ogre (preferably a Mk V) and a GEV. I need them for icons in Civ2--I made a continental siege unit, but need an image to complete the job... Thanks...Steve ----- [Well, I know of at least one pic site (http://www.clark.net/pub/nyrath/ogre.html), but I don't think you're allowed to redistribute the pics. On another subject, you don't have to use a tape measure to use the minis, just pick up a BattleTech Mapset. (one slope-line in a hex is a gentle slope (blocks LOS, no effect on move), two or more counts as a cliff of half the levels noted) Also I've finally tracked down the Paneuropean Fencer mini from Ral Partha. (I assume that the pointy-end with the turrent is forwards). Also I've picked up the Battletech Puma, with a turreted main gun, two smaller guns mounted on the hull forwards and two "grenade-launcher-arrays"(?) on the waist, it seems like a good match to the Mark-II in both size and function. -HJC] Henry J.
