============== OGRE/GEV list, August 7th (Last: August 4th) =============== ===== Unauthorized OGRE games From: ??? ------------------------------ From: ??? To: "Henry J. I just have to live with it. And > distributing unofficial OGRE and CAR WARS computer games is very clearly > a total no-no. If I let it happen, I can lose my rights to the marks. As a long time (almost 20 years) fan of SJ Games, I am behind you 100% and can say that I'd much rather wait for the "official" stuff then jeopardise the chance existance of the games by supporting tradmark infringement. I'd like to also ask a question and perhaps make a suggestion. Is it possible that we may see things like downloadable versions of forms commonly used in SJ Games products? Personally, I don;t like bringing my copy of Car Wars in to work to photocopy the vehicle sheets. Maybe these, the list of OGRE's and their record sheets, and even GURPS character sheets can all be made available for downloading?I assume since they are marked "OK to photocopy for personal use" that it would be OK to download them? Just a thought. Scott ------------------------------ Henry J. Cobb hcobb@io.com http://www.io.com/~hcobb All OGRE-related items Copyright (c) 1996, by Steve Jackson Games.
