Subject: PBEM TRAIN !, ends

faguirre@students.wisc.edu (Combine) played grendel@cdsnet.net (Pan
European) in a game of basic TRAIN which concluded in a draw.  To show
the time needed to Play by E Mail (PBEM), the game started 26 September.
The Combine had a force of Heavy Tanks and GEV's while the Defender had
2 howitzers, a gaggle of Light Tanks and numerous infantry.  The Combine
played a war of attrition and lost all but 2 armor units.  However,
while the PanE were in a mess near the city hexes of 1408, 3 Combine
GEVs snuck up the east side and managed to kill the train via overrun
and kill a howitzer.  Due to the Combine Heavy losses, the game ended up
with the Combine up 12 points, thus a DRAW AND NO CLEAR WEANER !  The
two may now challenged each other again and switch sides.  Grendels
record in PBEM is 1 win, 2 losses and one tie.

If anyone wants to PBEM, there is an extra board open at this time.
