That's a good point, although I wasn't considering trying this with Ogres. I think with "conventional" forces per standard GEV, it might work. Two of my buddies are interested in trying, so after we do I'll write back and tell how it went. If a GEV enters this destroyed city, but the bridge is still intact, does the GEV have to end its turn in the city per 8.03 ? I thought the rubble would still block the path to the bridge, causing a delay. Mike P in NH ie: city 0409 is destroyed, and a GEV wants to go from 0310 to 0409 to 0408 in one movement phase ----- [Doesn't work, but 0407-0408-0409 does work. -HJC] ------------------------------ From: "Todd A. Zircher" Subject: A bridge too far? Hello OGRE fans, I've got a rules question for you. If the road next to a bridge is destroyed or blocked by rubble, is the bridge itself usable? Using the GEV map for this example, we have a GEV at 0311 that wants to travel to 0310, 0409 and across the bridge to 0408. The problem is that the town at 0409 has been killed but not rubbled. When the GEV moves from 0409 to 0408 is it 'on the road' (refer to 5.07) and thus can use the bridge or must it stop and ford the stream on its next movement phase? If Harry will allow it, there is an attached map segment (in gif format) that shows the situation. Since a PBEM game 'hangs in the balance', a prompt response to the mailing list would be welcome. Thanks, Todd A. Zircher ----- [Sorry, the move from 0310-0409 ends the move because of 5.083 -HJC] Henry J.
