============ OGREverse list, Mar 20th (Last: Mar 17th) ============= ===== GEV by Email From: "Pelletier, Michael J" ===== Infantry Assault GEV From: Forrest Aguirre ------------------------------ From: "Pelletier, Michael J" Subject: GEV by Email I am looking for some competition for GEV by e-mail. I have three boards and one of them is open. Let me know if you are interested. Mike P in N.H. mjpelle2@amp.com or peletier@grolen.com ----- [There already is a message board for PBM at: http://www.sjgames.com/ogre/board/ but the last message is from September. -HJC] ------------------------------ From: Forrest Aguirre Subject: Infantry Assault GEV >I forget who designed it, but I like the idea of the anti-infantry GEV. >Such a unit could be very helpful in "Breakthrough" situations! > > Chris > That was mine. I kind of like it too, though when it was originally posted, I seem to recall that some (including Mr. Cobb) felt that the unit was too expensive. We are sunlight, We can sparkle and shine and our dreams are what we're made of. . . -Dio- "Hungry for Heaven" ----- [There already is an Infantry Assault GEV, it has an attack strength of 4 normally, 7 in overruns. What's especially nice is that it splits up into four separate targets in an overrun (The GEV-PC and the three squads) to make it harder to kill. If you're in a hurry, you can fire from range one and then overrun during the second movement phase to finish them off. (Now maybe if there was some sort of infantry that had an attack strength of three in an overrun this would be the anti-armor GEV ;-) -HJC] Henry J.
