(Hint: The Mk IV >or Fencer get overrun by 40 LGEVs and their racks will seem slightly >inadequate...) Sorry, but first, with a force of 20 armour units and 30 infantry, I'd say you have to play by the standard Ogre rules. No stacking, no overruns. :-) Because the GEV rules do make things easier on the defender. Secondly, anyone want to argue that the costs for (large numbers of) 1/2 armour units and militia are too low? :-) CC Chris Camfield - ccamfield@cyberus.ca Big Rude Jake Fan Club President Visit the Big Rude Page at "http://www.bigrudejake.com"! "I've had dinner with the devil, and I know nice from right" (BRJ) ----- [OGRE minis says 180 points to stop a Mk-V in 30 inches in clear terrain, but the OGRE map favors the OGRE more than clear terrain would. Spillover puts a limit on the little things. Two points of attack causes an average of 0.5 armor units of "damage" when directed at a GEV, but 0.5 units of damage when two LGEVs are within spillover range. (Say... that's no fair, better edit in a three point attack instead.) What I don't see is how Steve could have missed the power of hoverized militia. Three squads of militia in an armored hovertruck costs the same as a single squad of regular infantry but moves faster, hits harder and has about the same defense. (Outside of overruns) I'm tempted to suggest that certain hoverskirts are fairly clusmy and so breakdown on 1-3 in bad terrain, but I'm not sure if the GEV-PC should be one of them. -HJC] Henry J.
