============ OGREverse list, July 2nd (Last: June 22nd) ============= ===== Ogre/ GEV forward observers From: "Dominique Sumner" ===== OGRE Minis Book From: "Todd Knight" ===== Gimmie the nukes. From: largecardriver5@webtv.net (Thunder 6) ------------------------------ From: "Dominique Sumner" Subject: Ogre/ GEV forward observers How can I get a copy of your forward obsrver article? I would also be interested in seeing any other Ogre or GEV material you may have. ----- [All the material I've got is on my webpage (URL at bottom). For grins you can try out the unit cost calculator there. Also you might want to follow the link to the official OGRE page and check to see if it's been updated in the past year. -HJC] ------------------------------ From: "Todd Knight" Subject: OGRE Minis Book just found the Ogre miniatures book last night. Spent hours trying to find the place and this classic book. Now it's mine! I dont even do the gaming scene, but I just had to pick this up as a hobby. I cant wait to put together my first landscape. Anyway if the mailing list is still active please add me, I'd love to hear whats new in the Ogre world. Thanks and later. ----- [According to their webpage, SJG still has the Ogre Minis book in stock, but if you don't got it yet it might be a good idea to grab it now, as they don't seem to be too keen on reprints. -HJC] ------------------------------ From: largecardriver5@webtv.net (Thunder 6) Subject: Gimmie the nukes. About those nukes. It would seem that progress on the nuke end is left out of everyones argument. "Radiation Battlefield" etc. A-bomb, H-bomb, N-bomb, O-bomb. O-bomb? Ogre age, high blast effect with a low radiation count. The opposite of the Neutron bomb. Just a thought. An environmentally kinder bomb. Death is just the begining, Ed ----- [I don't have much faith in the blast or thermal effects doing in the beasts. What I do see killing the thing is a bunch of small dense penetrators flying in at very high speeds to punch through the armor and disrupt the insides. Neutrons should do nicely. -HJC] Henry J.
