It should save the > missles or force attacks on them. Remember, one missle in the racks It's also been my experience that holding on to the missiles is like having an insurance policy. If they shoot at them, great because you get an extra hex or three of movement. If they don't, make 'em regret it. They're useful either way. I don't hold real firmly to either school of thought: hold onto 'em or shoot 'em early. I believe it depends on who you're playing and what they're doing. As a defender, I'd love some tips on dealing with a Mk V's missiles, though. Hit them and let it run me over or not him them and let it shoot me with them? Sucks either way. ----- stephan Generic Universal Computer Guy stephan@einsurance.de - http://www.einsurance.de Office: +49 (89) 552 92 862 Handy: +49 (179) 211 97 67 "...control is a degree of inhibition, and a system which is perfectly inhibited is completely frozen." -- Alan W. The Ogre HAS to come to you, so,sit back and enjoy the wait, it is extra time for you to live. Remember the objective is to put the maximum firepower on the Ogre, not take potshots that cost you weapons. ===== [If the GEVs are constrained to one section of the map then they're not protecting against a rush on the howitzers. -HJC] ============================== From: "(v)ister (v)cKnight" Subject: Re: Ogre Reinforcement Pack question Hi Henry, Yeah, I have the original Ogre Book as well. I've been re-reading it in my spare time lately. I just ordered Battlefields and Reinforcements so that should make for some interesting AH D-Day style scenarios...Glad to read that Fencers are included. I hope Reinforcements comes with Mark IIs but if not, it's not a big deal. Does SJ Games sell blank counters? Forgot to check the warehouse, do that tomorrow... I'm in Houston and the flood knocked out the power to my company's building so I've been working from home and have Ogre/GEV setup on a table nearby for solitaire fun. We're not scheduled to go back to work until next monday. I played the Raid Scenario today and the Paneuropeans got a marginal victory. I suppose I wasn't moving my GEVs fast enough, plus I stacked them and they succumbed to spillfire damage before I realized stacking was a bad idea... I was reading about Jeff Fowler's Battle of/for Gibraltar tournament but I didn't see any specific details of the scenario. Has anyone posted it or put it on a website for everyone's perusal. Also, that satellite map for the San Francisco scenario on sjgames website was very interesting! Thanks, John McKnight ============================== From: "Grogan, Paul" Subject: OGRE Miniatures Yahoo Group There's an OGRE-Miniatures group on yahoo groups. I stumbled across it by accident the other week and have been trying to join it, but not having any luck. Is anyone here a member of the list and have any ideas how I can get subscribed Cheers Paul Grogan Mib 0307 ===== [Have you tried the join link at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OGRE-Miniatures -HJC] Henry J.
