====== Ogre Digest, 4th of July (Last: June 29th) ======== ===== Ogre At Origins From: "Duncan McEwen" From: Sumnerd1234@cs.com ============================== From: "Duncan McEwen" Subject: Ogre At Origins Hey gang, Speaking of Origins I will be there and looking to get into some of these Ogre games. As a side note I will also have some minitures sets to trade if anyone is interested. Hope to see you there! Duncan McEwen NA Combine Engineering Division McEwen the Mad Malkavian Elder of Ypsilanti ===== From: Sumnerd1234@cs.com Subject: Ogre at Origins >Evil Stevie's got a new scenario to try out at Origins, see: >http://www.sjgames.com/ill/ Speaking of new scenarios, does anyone know what the status of the Ogre Scenario Book Vol. II is? I have not seen anything on it for a while now. Or for that matter Ogre Minis II? Also it looks like things are a little slow in general around the world of Ogre, come people I know some of have some idea's. Spit them out. ===== [The only idea I've gotten recently is to stack two platoons of grunts in a woods hex. If a Superheavy runs up and fires it's big guns at them it will average only 1.5 squads killed, leaving a better than 50% chance that the response will be a 1-1 attack back on it. (It's slightly better to stack up as three, two-squad counters in this case.) I'm sure that everybody's just out taking one last chance to look at the world before the banana dispute between NAFTA and the EU escalates to tac nukes. -HJC ;-] ============================== List Moderator: Henry J.
