====== OGRE Digest, May 3rd, 2004 (Last: Apr 23rd) ======== ===== Train Miniatures for OGRE From: "Chris French" ============================== From: "Chris French" Subject: Train Miniatures for OGRE > From: David Morse > The train is 3 miles long in G.E.V. Not that its 1000 feet high. Dude, when I was in Omaha, I *saw* trains that could have been 3 miles long! Smart folks learned where 50th St. was *real* fast. (It was the only street between West Omaha and the Missouri River that ran *under* the RR rather than across it. One good XC freight could bollix traffic for a couple hours. :) ) > [Remember that the vertical scale is off by a factor of 100. -HJC] What does that matter? _OGRE_ plays on Flat Earth. (No eleva- tion rules that I can find, discounting the minis rules.) > From: David Morse > Subject: need more scenario contest entries! > > Please visit > http://tank.osaurus.us/contest1/index.html > and send in a scenario. Thanks! I'd love to, except all of mine are: A) Cardboard-counter-and-hexes _OGRE_, and; B) Small-unit actions (~20 counters *total*).
