Midas Touch (Corporeal): Whenever the angel attempts to spend essence, they must make a successful
Will Roll at a penalty equal to the level of this Discord - failure means
that instead of the essence being spent as as intended, it used to spend
something in contact with the angel into gold. The item to be transformed is
chosen by the GM, and can include the angels Vessel! The angel can transform
an item (including their Vessel) back by accepting an additional level of
this Discord (Obviously, this cannot be done if the angel has six levels).
Dominic has forbidden angels with this Discord from allowing Soldiers to
perform the Corporeal Song of Sacrifice on them.
Haggling (Ethereal): The angel is incapable of making major purchases without somehow reducing
the price. Purchases which could be made even if the angels Role was
(Haggling Discord) levels lower are unaffected. If the level of Haggling
exceeds the level of the angels' Role they become incapable of functioning
effectively, as they won't even turn on a light without working out how to
reduce the bill they'll pay to the electricity company. The angel will
insist on a 'discount' of at least 10% per level of this Discord.
Rules Lawyer (Celestial): The angel becomes obsessed with the fine print of contracts and rulings. The
angel must make a Will roll at a penalty equal to the level of Discord to
ignore any ruling or point of agreement, no matter how minor or trivial,
even if doing so would benefit both parties and/or the point was not
intended when the contract was signed. If the angel with this Discord
violates Marc's dissonance conditions, they must add their level of this
Discord to the dissonance roll.
