This does not come from some modern(ish) European Occult Community. May I quote from Kabbalistic sources. The Archangel of the Sephirah is the Archangel of the Annunciation, Gabriel, who gives the power of vision.... ....Archangel Gabriel should invoke much of the Sea and Moon power which is an integral part of the Sephirah Yesod. To be honest this is all irrelevent since IN is a game and has it's own internal consistencies. The IN Gabiel is the Archangel of Fire. The Kabbalistic Gabriel is not. My players (mostly) want to run an angelic campain and as I'm >>very new at this I'm hopeing that yall can give me a hand as in >>suggestion's for adventures and stuff. >> The only things you -need- to run a campaign for IN are the main rulebook and a good imagination. If your players have more IN books than you do, either borrow them in advance or tell them to leave them at home. Five suggestions for angelic campaigns: (1) A young musician is either Destined to inspire millions with his music... or Fated to lead a generation into angst, depression and suicide. The players have to figure out which way to 'nudge' the artist... and also how to prevent diabolic agents from doing likewise. The tough part is telling the demons from the music industry sleaze... (2) It's a perfect frame-up. A Wind Servitor friend of the group has been set up for a soul-killing. Dominic wants him brought in -now-... but Janus is insistent that your group find him first and bring him back to Heaven so everything can be made clear. You're working against time... outpacing not only Dominic's Triad and the mysterious people who made the frame, but the fleet feet of the Windie himself... (3) One of the old Etherial gods- Mayan, Islam, whatever- is on a rampage, killing, destroying, and soaking up Essence. It must be stopped before its power becomes too great- and in order to stop it Heaven and Hell have called a truce. Your group will have to work alongside diabolic PCs to track down the godling's hiding place, predict its next move, and destroy it. This campaign should be loaded with temptation on the part of the diabolic PCs, who will take advantage of the truce to do a bit of recruiting... (4) Five years ago, Thistatia was a green, peaceful land. Now it's a bloody warzone with neighbor fighting neighbor, and Michael wants to know why. Maybe Baal is behind it... or maybe Baal is just as confused as Michael. It's up to the players to track down the true causes of the senseless war, despite all sorts of red herrings and distractions along the way. (5) Peace? With Hell?? That's your assignment, folks- Novalis and Blandine have secretly given you a mandate to seek out Lucifer himself and present a proposal for a quiet and peaceful end to the War. Leaving aside the task of - -finding- the Lightbringer- he might be in Hell, or wandering the Earth, or anywhere- there is the ever-present danger of ambitious demons and hard-line Malakim of the Sword who will slash first and ask questions later... That's why Janus wants his Servitor brought straight to Heaven- he doesn't trust the Triad assigned to the case. The GM can play the Triad as straight and reasonable, hardheaded and prejudiced, however they like- but in all circumstances they should present an obstacle for the players to overcome.
