"I'd still like to reinvestigate genetic engineering as possible creator of mythocal beasts..." *** The Ancient order of Estoric dreams is a group of angels composed of a number of Superiors and supposadly including at least one perhaps more Archangel. The group began when a number of servitors developed close and semi-lasting relationships with a number of Ethereals before the Purity Crusade (whether friendship, romantic, and even purely business and carnal) and came to a head when they actively worked against the Purity Crusade during it's horrofic devastation. Horrofied and weighed by misplaced guilt to a certain degree the organization has gradually come to include angels that have been indoctrinicated fully into the belief Uriel was mad if not evil and a number of angels who believe humanity have forgotton it's roots culturally. In effect the Ancient order of Estoric dreams wishes a time to emerge among humanity with a return to prominence of the Old Gods from Athena, Isis, and Odin who take their place as strong allies of Heaven against the Darkness with a monotheistic figure ruling over the legion of beings while they serve as a type of angel or otherwise lesser spirit. This world view was reasonably unpopular before the Purity Crusade and now that it has come and gone many ethereal gods only have their pride left. Still the Estoric order serve as apologists and quiet allies of the Marches in hopes that the modern age can fade to dust and the old religeons return to prominence...with a twist. The Order of Course faces the daunting task of being apologists when every time an ethereal ends up on Earth most angels have to slay it, the Tsaydim, Malakim calling the purity Crusade "a glorious victory" and other events that frankly make the order look like the Largest Group of Hypocrites that have ever walked the Marches, Earth, and heaven! Still the order hopes that their quiet aid will help such groups as the Loas, Australians, and fey who still fight against beleth survive the comming centuries and enter into a closer relationship with Heaven. To this end they quite simply ignore Dominic's decrees regarding ethereals and do their best to be leniant> even going so far as to try and redeem ethereal servants of Hell as one would a demon. Still most acknowledge in the new order that gods like Set have no place but a few Ethereals (Isis and Athena prominently along with Vishnu who still entertains Michaelite visitors and seems to have mostly ignored the Purity Crusade) take envoys from the Estoreic order reasoning that some allies are better than none. The Central American Pantheon of course faces dire foes against them even as the Order believes Quezticoatl will help them AGAINST his brethren when he returns. The Norse are ambivalent because of Thor's death and acknowledging the angels responsibility for it. The Celetic pantheon might have been strong allies given the recent revival with Christian undertones but Brigits death by such means leads most to believe they are merely trying a more subtle path to genocide. The Seelie are as usual plotting against the Unseelie and most unseelie resent their "white washing".
