It's always bothered me that IN makes no real distinction between Holy and Unholy pistols. I always thought that attuned artifacts should be difficult to use by the other side.
So here's a home rule -
If an artifact is specifically mentioned as being either Holy or Unholy, a member of the Other Side cannot use it without penalty. Use causes Dissonance depending on the Level of the artifact. Levels 1 & 2 cause Dissonance every 3 times of use, levels 3 & 4 cause Dissonance every other use, and levels 5 & 6 cause Dissonance EACH time it is used. This increases the cost of the artifact by +5.
