--------------------GEV List Thingy, April 18th-------------------- From: Steve Jackson Subject: Re: GEV List Thingy, April 17th. To: "Henry J. Cobb" Granted, a two-round max on overruns would be simpler, but I really like the all-or-nothing effect. When you start an overrun, only one side comes out alive, unless Ogres or buildings are involved. It feels right. Overruns IN buildings? Gaah. Messy!! Never say NEVER, but Battlesuit is unlikely to return any time soon unless we do a 25mm minis line for it, or something of the sort. And HOT LEAD would do the job better. If I finished it :-) Don't ask. ___ [The continous overrun, gives an "iron wall of battlesuits" feel to the board game, does it have a simular effect on Minnis? I'd like to see a mixed-mode game, "The Battle for Sheffield", where the attackers have to capture the codes to turn off the Guardian Mk III before it smashes their tanks outside. -HJC] Henry J.
