============ OGREverse list, Jan 25th (Last: Jan 20th) ============= ===== OGRE in J.C. Silhouette From: Jeffery.M.Miller@Dartmouth.EDU (Jeffery M. Miller) ===== OGRE Miniature Rules From: Brent Hild ------------------------------ From: Jeffery.M.Miller@Dartmouth.EDU (Jeffery M. Miller) Subject: OGRE in J.C. Silhouette I'm also a player of Heavy Gear (the other Silhoutte system from Dream Pod 9). I'd love to see your treatment of OGREs in Silo! Have you considered forwarding them to the HGML/JCML for perusal by the Silo-fiends? ;-> ------------------------------ From: Brent Hild Subject: OGRE Miniature Rules Mr. Cobbs, I noticed you were the moderator for Steve Jackon's OGRE. I am interested in programming strategy games, and someone recommended OGRE to me. They said that OGRE had a simplistic premise without a lot of unnecessary complexities. Could you please tell me if 1) this is an accurate description of OGRE, and 2) if the OGRE Miniature Rules would contain all the information about how the game is played. Thanks for you time, Brent stehle@isoc.net ----- [The OGRE Minis book is complete for playing the minis version of the game, but the (eternally? ;-) out of print board game has been more sucessful in adaptions to computer play. You'll need to read http://www.sjgames.com/general/online_policy.html Nobody's commented on my suggested changes for OGRE minis (at my website, URL below.) I think I'll go rumble under a rock and sulk. -HJC] Henry J. Cobb ogre@sjgames.com http://www.io.com/~hcobb All OGRE-related items Copyright (c) 1999, by Steve Jackson Games.
