It is great that the game is now available again. I am especially interested in th miniature rules and the 1/300 models. When will they be available? I would also like to know if you could send me the scenarios and rules from the ogre homepage as text files because I have no internet access at the moment. I would also like to suggest to produce a set of OGRE card like the ones in the middle of the games rules, but in full colour. The could be used for the game and as a painting idea for the miniatures, showing all kind of Ogres in the various armies of the 21st century. Begin anywhere in the lake or river. PanEuropean CP, 8 Infantry Squads, 2 Heavy Tanks, 2 Light Tanks, 2 Missile Tanks, 2 GEV. Begin anywhere on land. Mission: The Commando Platoon is to move onto land from the sub and destroy the command post, preparing for an invasion in that area the next day. Preserve as much of the Commando Platoon as possible, exiting the map into the water and off the board. Rules: PanEuropean forces may not move or fire until the presence of enemy forces is known. Then, they are free to move. Once enemy units are spotted, all units may fire. Commando units are only known of if they stack two or more squads together or if the Ogre Sub fires. Commando units are only spotted if an enemy infantry unit is in the same hex as one of the squads. Ogre Sub: 2D3 Secondary, Range 8 2 D4 Missile Racks, Range 12, 10 missiles each One Cruise Missile, internal until fired Hull is 4 rows of 10 (treat just as treads) Commando Platoon: Each squad is carrying part of a bomb. When all three squads are in the same hex, they may assemble and set the bomb. They may leave immediately. The bomb may be remote-detonated by the Commando Platoon. The bomb is treated as a cruise missile when detonated and may not be disarmed nor eliminated in any fashion. Victory Conditions: The Combine must destroy the CP and bring home as many of the Commando Squads as possible. The Ogre Sub must survive, as well. Combine Strategic Victory -- All squads and the Ogre Sub exit the board, CP destroyed. Combine Tactical Victory -- Two squads and the Ogre Sub exit the board, CP destroyed. Combine Marginal Victory -- One squad and the Ogre Sub exit the board, CP destroyed. Tie -- Ogre Sub exits the board, CP destroyed. Marginal PanEuropean Victory -- CP remains, all squads and the Ogre Sub exit the board. Tactical PanEuropean Victory -- CP remains, two squads and the Ogre Sub exit the board. Strategic PanEuropean Victory -- CP remains, one squad and the Ogre Sub exit the board. Another fun GO fact: A Mark V will move less than a mile at its top offroad speed in the time it takes a Fencer to launch all twenty missiles.
