The auction server automatically registers bids. All new items start out at a minimum bid. As long as new bids are being made, the item will stay on the auction list. After one day of no bidding on an item, the item will be marked Going Once! after the high bid, so you'll know that the bidding is coming to an end. After one more day of no new bidding, the item is marked GOING TWICE!. After one final day of no new bids, the bidding is closed, the item marked SOLD!, and the winner is notified, both by email and on the auction page.
You will be notified by email when you place a bid, and when your bid has been topped. Winners will be notified by email when the bidding concludes on an item. Please use a valid email address; if the automatic email to you bounces, your bid will be invalidated.
Bids must be made in U.S. Dollar amounts . . . no bidding in Krugerrands or Zorkmids or other unusual forms of currency. Payment can be made by credit card (we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover), or for US bidders we can also accept checks/money orders. Foreign winners MUST pay by credit card.
For lots shipped within the US, including Alaska, Hawaii, and all territories/protectorates/commonwealths/etc.:
Lots shipped to street addresses (no PO Boxes) in the continental US will be shipped via UPS Ground. Lots sent to Alaska/Hawaii/etc. and PO Boxes will be shipped via the US Post Office.
Foreign winners: lots will be shipped via UPS International Mail; we will contact you via email with S&H charges.
Winning bidders must pay for their goodies within 3 weeks of winning the bid. Winners who fail to pay within the 3-week time period will forfeit their lot to the next-highest bidder.
In the event of misunderstandings, problems with the auction server, or other unexpected events, we reserve the right to settle the final ownership of each lot as we think most fair.
