Squarescape is a STL package of 51 different tiles and accessories to let you build your own modular dungeon, as big as you want. Each tile is 2" square, the perfect scale for standard figures in D&D® and the various Old School Rules. They are also compatible with tiles sold by Dwarven Forge™ and other manufacturers, so we are not asking you to set aside anything you already own!

June 2026 – Available now on Warehouse 23
A room built out of nine Squarescape tiles – four corners, three single walls, one flat, and one doorway (no door). (Crabman vs. orc for scale.) Then the same room, exploded into its nine tiles.
Affordable
Squarescape is far less expensive than a physical tile set. You can afford the biggest layout you want, and change it whenever you like. Print the parts yourself, and it's never out of stock. Print just the ones you need now . . . print more later when you want them.
This STL set also includes alternate versions of the two most-used tiles, to avoid obvious repetition of dungeon floors.

Detailed
There are 39 different tile designs, to let you duplicate any square-grid design with walls, corridors, and doorways. Plus doors, doorframes, and connectors.
Doors can be opened, closed, or removed completely. (If you don't like assembling the working hinges, you can glue the doors in place.)
The tiles' base design lets you add hidden magnets if you like, to hold figures in position, and there are knockouts to run wires if you want to illuminate your dungeon.
Easy to Use
The sculpting is clean and paintable. Or print in stone color and use them instantly!
The Squarescape tile connectors are invisible from above, and can be temporary or permanent, as you wish. If the connections are not glued, you don't have to tear down the whole layout to redo part of it. And the tiles are solid enough that you may decide to play without connecting them at all.
The tiles are short (¾") walls, so you can easily see and move your figures. Doors are taller because doors should match figure height . . .
A Supported System!
No worries about your terrain going out of stock just when you want to expand the dungeon. Or, worse, the maker going out of business. If you're printing it yourself, you can always make more.
Continuing support – new and improved files – will be available on a completely irregular basis, as we listen to user feedback and play with them ourselves. If you buy the Squarescape file set on a registered Warehouse 23 account rather than as a guest, you will get automatic notices of improved file versions, with incremental changes and additions, free. (If we do a whole lot of completely different material, such as hexes and columns with a different surface texture, we might offer that as a supplement.)
And the Squarescape Dungeon Builder [Coming Soon] makes creating new dungeons easy!
Includes 50 STLs for:
- Tiles 1 through 39: a set of 2" squares with all possible variations of wall/doorway/open side /pillar/open corner. The texture is flagstone, divided into standard 1" movement squares.
- Alternate stone patterns for the most used tiles – numbers 1 and 11 – to allow for variety in large rooms, long halls, and so on.
- Doorframe: A doorway can be left open, or a frame can be installed to hold a hinged door.
- Six different doors.
- Locking connector piece (we cannot say this too often: the connector works best when printed from a slightly flexible material like TPM)
- Hinge-pin straightener.
And a PDF "README" file with full instructions.
