Demonblade Games is a progeny (to one extent or another) of the demise of Grenadier Models (may she rest in peace). Aaron Overton, president of Demonblade, was the online representative for Grenadier when it finally went away, and he felt that he could put together a company to do the things that Grenadier had been getting at the end.

Thus was born the Shockforce line of miniatures. The line was originally built upon pieces commissioned but not paid for by Grenadier, but since has been expanded to great effect. Each month's releases have been getting better and better, and I think we can expect great things from Demonblade in the near future.

Shockforce, the rules, is a set of heroic 25mm (which really means 30mm) scale miniatures rules set in the future. 150 years from now, the United States has been torn apart by internal strife and corporate intrigues. The Megacoms have control of vast portions of the country using highly trained troops called Shock Forces. Opposing them are a variety of other groups including: the Mutant forces, who will never quite have enough firepower to crush the Megacoms, but spend a lot of time making life difficult for them; the mystical Vengequan, descendants of the original tribes of America; the Scarlet Brethren, a group of Southerners that make that crowd from the movie Deliverance look reasonable; the Orgs from New . . .
