Game masters often get the short end of the stick in roleplaying games. Players get new classes, races, and powers to experiment with while the GM gets more things to keep track of. Xiticix Invasion goes a long way in alleviating some of the common problems many GMs face. For one, there are no new races or classes for players to get their hands on. This book focuses almost exclusively on the Xiticix. But what could be so interesting about the bug men? Any player who started off with the core Rifts book will remember the painting by Kevin Long of a Xiticix portal opening up, or the GM first using these mid-level creatures on his party with their rare techno-wizardry weapons.

Fortunately, Palladium hasn't changed much. Does this mean that there is no new information on the Xiticix? Not quite. What it means is that while there are now new members of the Xiticix family, the bugs remain a foe that can, if used in small numbers, be a threat to a low powered group, but used in mass numbers, a menace to even Holy Terrors and Cosmo Knights. Most players will be familiar with the worker, warrior, and queen caste, and those who read the Rifter #3 will be aware of the Nits, Grubs, Nannies (taking care of the Nits and Grubs), Hunters (specialized warriors), and Diggers (to dig tunnels), but Xiticix Invasion adds in the Leaper, . . .
