If you like your d20 System games to have a tactile feel and a tactical look, you can never go wrong with enough miniatures. The problem with miniatures is three fold -- one of expense, one of preparation and painting time, and one of storage. This is where the various counter packs from Fiery Dragon come in handy, especially when used with the several counter sets they have included in their published scenarios and also with the other sheets of counters made available in Dragon and Dungeon magazines.

The latest is a must for any DM who likes to drop the players into hot situations -- sometimes literally! The Demons & Devils Counter Pack is for use any time the party is up against either the baatezu or the tanar'ri. The pack includes not just those of either type given in the MM, but also several from the two volumes of the Book of Fiends released by Green Ronin Publishing -- Armies of the Abyss for the tanar'ri and Legions of Hell for the baatezu. Which means of course, that the baatezu counters could also be used if the DM was planning to run Hell in Freeport, the scenario also published by Green Ronin.
