Gentleman's Agreement is the first "season book" designed for the Spycraft RPG. A season book is a series of interconnected adventures, which tie together to form a cohesive campaign (aka "season"). This season book in question details no less than four plots to destroy the world (or at least seriously put a hamper on its day), all interconnected within the framework of the "gentleman's agreement."

And what is the gentleman's agreement? It is, simply put, a standing bet, entered into by some of the world's most powerful -- and amoral -- people: the Board. The Board's members are all rich and . . . well, bored. So they use their power to drive the world as close to the brink of disaster as possible, all the while trying to maintain enough control to bring it back from armageddon; this game is played once per decade. There are no wages risked in this game . . . merely bragging rights for having staged the greatest disaster. The Board's greatest triumph to date has been staging the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Unfortunately, the engineer behind that event, Nero Kingsley, has lost the will to live; he has an inoperable brain tumor, and he has decided to take the world with him. He is using the game not to push the world to its limits, but to break it.
