After the acclaimed Freeport adventures ran their course, Green Ronin turned to the more profitable sourcebooks to fill their release schedule. As great as these resources are -- and they are almost uniformly superb -- there are those out there, myself included, who couldn't wait for Pramas and company to get back to writing adventures set in their hive of scum and villainy known as Freeport.

At last, with the adventure anthology Tales of Freeport, our prayers have been answered. Here we get four scenarios of intrigue and evil for characters level 3-9, as well as some great additional resources for the city itself.

Who better to write such a book than renowned Warhammer author Graeme Davis, he of the wonderfully disturbed imagination and deftly-plotted conspiracies? Who could forget his masterful work in the adventures Shadows Over Bogenhafen and Power Behind the Throne, still classics some 15 years after their initial publication? It's been nearly two decades since his work with WFRP, and yet his work in Tales of Freeport suggests Davis hasn't lost a mental step.

The adventures take place after the events detailed in the first four Freeport adventures, but do not require knowledge of them in any way. It is, however, vital that . . .
