One of the Imperium’s most beloved children’s authors died in his home yesterday, after a lingering illness. Otis Jimenez-Synodinos, more widely known by his pen name “Uncle Jemmy,” was the author of hundreds of titles over the last forty years, including the best selling <i>Eneri of the IISS</i> action adventure series and dozens of books in the <i>Pendragan Poni</i> series.

Few people know that “Uncle Jemmy” was a destroyer commander during the Fourth Frontier War (1082-1084) who served with distinction at the Battle of the Twin Suns.
