December 16, 2004: It's Easy Money Till Your Hair Falls Out
Many Denver residents, hoping to earn a $2,500 reward, are searching for a lost steel rod containing radioactive cesium-137. The two-foot rod is believed to have fallen off a truck last Friday. Authorities say it is not dangerous from 10 feet away, but warn that it should not be handled. It's feared that someone has already picked it up without knowing what it is. Denver's Channel 7 has the details.
