May 19, 2006: Illuminated Site of the Week: It's Two, Two, Two Elemental Powers In One
The solution has been staring us in the face all the time. The Lightning Path To Ascension holds that, rather than contest the relative benefits of good vs. evil, we should squish the effects of the two into one power. Perhaps that's an indelicate way of putting it (the author states, somewhat more succinctly, "someone has finally been zapped by Light and Dark Forces"), but the upshot is you will become the One God. You know 'im, you love 'im, you could really use some canned adventures for your campaign set in his world. Conan and the Tower of the Elephant has an elephant, Conan and the Lurking Terror of Nahab is terrifying, and Conan and the Heretics of Tarantia - well, we wouldn't want to spoil it.
