June 10, 2009: One Thousand Words, Give Or Take
You'd think that with lots of pictures to show how much fun we had when John Kovalic visited, we'd be sure to include them in that Illuminator.
Sometimes, we aren't as smart as we'd like to think we are. Go check out our Flickr stream to see a whole lot of photos proving that yes, everyone had a great time.

Well, we already used the "axe-spansion" joke. And, like, twice if you count the e23 front page news. With this set called Battle Axe, Expansion #1, it became apparent we were premature in letting loose on that joke. Our only salvo fired, we're kinda stuck for a joke on this one. We'll just have to go with "you have no axe-cuse not to buy this!" Oh well, hindsight and all that.
