The trespassing trial of several members of a Terran secret society has taken a rather interesting turn. The judges granted the defendant’s petition for a survey of the site of the Bruton Parish Church in the historical district known as Williamsburg Virginia. A gravitometric survey of the site revealed an underground chamber, previously unknown to the keepers of the historical district.
The seven defendants are members of a secret society devoted to the study of a Terran mystic known as Saint-Germain, and were arrested for attempting an illegal excavation. Members of the organization claim that a secret vault beneath the ruins of the original church contains documents and artifacts of tremendous historical significance.
Technicians hired by the court are of the opinion that the chamber is less than one third meter in its greatest dimension, and is unlikely to contain anything significant, as it appears to be filled with water.
