Kenobi Says May the Fourth Be With You

The Star Trek fans had their day on April 5th with First Contact Day. (The Vulcans were no-shows AGAIN. Then again, we haven't developed warp drive technology yet . . .)

Today, however, is for Star Wars fans! Here in the U.S., May 4th has become Star Wars Day, playing on a pun of "May the Force be with you."

It's a great day to get together with friends and watch a Star Wars movie marathon. If you don't have time to watch everything, may I suggest watching the movies in Machete order (IV, V, II, III, VI)?

Other ways to celebrate:

  • Have a Star Wars Quote-Off to see who can quote the most lines from the movies.
  • Play some Star Wars trivia.
  • Have light saber battles using pool noodles. (Safety first!)

You could also consider playing some Star Munchkin while the Star Wars marathon plays in the background.

However you decide to celebrate, May the . . . well, you know!
