May 10, 2026: Turning It Up To 11

Two of our favorite games are getting new editions this year. There's Munchkin Second Edition, of course . . . And then, near and dear to my mini-painter heart, is Warhammer 40,000, with an 11th edition slated for June. Not only that, both games are previous-edition-compatible. Games Workshop is saying you'll be able to play 11th with the previous edition's codexes (or codices if you want to be that way about it.)  And you can play any 1st edition Munchkin game with 2e rules – just find some counters to use as Gold Pieces and decide which 7 doors and 14 Teasures you want in the setup decks. So while you wait for the Munchkin Second Edition core set or Warhammer 40,000, 11th Edition, you can play Munchkin Warhammer 40,000 with the 2e rules we've already released.
