The Great Pyramid Comic Search
Pyramid wants more comics! To that end, we are holding the Great Pyramid Comic Search.
It's simple! Submit four gaming-related comics you've created. Entries must be sent in either JPG or GIF format, and be no wider than 550 pixels . . . we're trying to make this screen-readable, after all. They can be in color or black & white, as you'd like. (Colors are free in an online mag . . .)
Winners will be judged solely by a panel of expert judges (aka whoever the editor can trick into looking them over).
Grand Prize: Live the life of an abused Pyramid contributor! For one month (four weeks, four comics . . . get it?) we'll run your strip, paying you standard Pyramid illustration rates ($35 for each comic in cash, or $70 each in SJ Games credit). We'll mention you on the Daily Illuminator. Beyond that, if you prove popular and you're willing to keep working for us, who knows what could happen?
Runners-Up: We'll run some of the other strips we like, and pay you the same Pyramid illustration rates!
Entries must be received by July 30th. They need to follow the same rules as our Pyramid Writer's Guidelines and the SJ Games Writer's Guidelines, as appropriate (no ripping off other characters, no inappropriate material, and so on). Rights purchased from winners will be the same as Pyramid articles (all electronic rights, plus first crack at paper publication).
