Conversions:

Larana can easily be made human, if in a human-only space game, or one where there aren't any humanoid aliens. (Kylarans can pass for human, if they work a little at it.)

Fantasy

Larana is a Merc captain, leading her own group, or perhaps a Captain of the Guard. She'll probably have a bit more Leadership, as well as the usual alterations to types of skills (her Beam Weapons skills will turn into Crossbow and/or Bow, for instance). Her Duty becomes to her home country or employers.

Another interesting notion would be to make her an elvish warrior, in which case she will have a small selection of combat and Protection and Warning spells around levels 10-15.

Modern

Larana is probably going to wind up in some nasty war-zone, probably working on the least repugnant side. Alter tech levels of skills, substitute Guns for Beam Weapons, etc. Her Duty is to her employers.

Near Future

Larana is a slightly gengineered human, and moving up the ranks in Corp. Security. Alter tech levels and add cybergear. Her Duty is to her employers/creators.

Larana Kestral is "Kylaran Royalty" to the press (a simplification of her precise rank and authority), and was Corporate Security for Artemis Enterprises (the company founded by Selene (B)) for several years, during her "Journeyman" period.

(In timeline A, Larana was ship-security for the Bat and Hell, which she owned ship-shares of, along with Selene (A), Celeste Ryder, and Moonfur. She participated in the great time-travel expedition which resulted in timeline B. Despite the relative peace of the new timeline, Larana seems happy enough with the results.)

Recently, Larana has returned to her homeworld to complete her training (and incidently hang around with her new boyfriend).

Typical Quotes:

"Oh, that's just too funny."

[And many others to be wrested from Jada. :-) ]
