Moonfur might be a C&E mage, or just real good at talking-type-stuff. Taking points out of some of her tech-skills and putting them into Linguistics or Language Talent might be useful.

First Contact? She'd be a good translator, probably.

Near Future

Moonfur is a bodyguard-translator bio-android for some corp-type. If treated well, she's quite loyal. If abused, well, she's probably not so nice.

Moonfur has had a long and checkered career - she was born a barbarian on a primitive Kintara, talked her way onto a Thral ship (this is where the TL12 skills come from), and wound up with a bunch of other people (including Selene Holmes (A)) and a price on all their heads. So Moonfur participated in the great (and secret) time travel expedition to fix the War (and get the price off our heads), and wound up in a generally nicer (though only TL11) universe, employed by Selene Holmes (B). Some of Moonfur's TL11 skills are "leakage" from her timeline B counterpart, with whom she "merged" and whose memories she has recently been able to access.

Thoroughly confused yet? Good. Anyway, Moonfur's worked her way from being a backwater barbarian with a little knack for languages into a Communications Goddess who is this far from inventing TL13 comm gear (except the local materials just aren't refined enough for that). She hasn't had a Primitive disad for a looong time.

Moonfur's last names signifies that she's got ship-shares of the white-elepha^H^H^H^H^H freighter known as the Hell, the smaller custom-built ship ("Fledermaus class") known as the Bat out of Hell (and the "Garoo class" shuttle, the A Handbasket), and she's a major employee at Artemis Enterprises.

(The timeline B version of Moonfur shows up in many of my Pawprints stories.)

Typical Quotes:

"We don't need to see her alive - we just need to see her dead." (Moonfur tries to boggle a presumed kidnapper - Selene (A), who'd pretended to hold herself hostage.)

"Oh, that's an easy problem. See?"

"Look! I made it unique!"
