July 1, 2005: Origins Award Winning!

The winners of the 2005 Origins Awards were announced yesterday at, appropriately, the Origins International Game Expo in Columbus, Ohio. In the Best Nonfiction Publication category, Pyramid Magazine and editor Steven Marsh were recognized. In the Best Game Accessory category, we won for Cardboard Heroes Castles, designed by John Hollis.

The good folks of Atlas Games also picked up two awards: Cthulhu 500 was named Best Traditional Card Game or Expansion, and Ars Magica: 5th Edition was named Best Role-Playing Game.

And since we are always delighted just to be nominated, we'll point out that four other Steve Jackson Games products also got the nod:

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees! For a complete list of winners and nominees, check out the Academy's website.
